A ranking, not a pass mark
There is no minimum VPT score. Victoria invites the highest-ranked Registrations of Interest in each round, so your chances depend on who else is in the pool.
Victoria uses the Victorian Points Test (VPT) to rank every Registration of Interest for Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) and Skilled Work Regional (subclass 491) nomination. Work through the seven factors below and your score updates as you go.
This estimate is based on the Victorian Points Test tables published by the Victorian Government for the 2026–27 program. It is not an official assessment and does not guarantee an invitation or nomination. You must also meet all federal visa requirements. Confirm the current criteria on Live in Melbourne – Victorian Points Test.

There is no minimum VPT score. Victoria invites the highest-ranked Registrations of Interest in each round, so your chances depend on who else is in the pool.
The VPT does not replace the federal points test. You still need at least 65 points and must meet every requirement for the subclass 190 or 491 visa.
Invitations go to the highest-ranked ROIs overall and to the highest-ranked ROIs within each priority industry.
